Some business consultants specialize in certain industries, and others take a more generalized approach. Here at Debbie A. Ferguson, Inc., we specialize in helping small businesses get off the ground from day one, and help our clients identify goals and the steps to get there, and find problems and how to overcome them.

Here is a short list of some of the services we offer:

  • Help owners discover their short and long-term goals

  • Define what steps need to be taken to reach and exceed those goals.

  • Addressing actions to be taken to implement changes in order to reach goals

  • Locate training resources for management and staff

  • Bring an outside perspective for fresh thinking

  • Give advice for business planning and launching new businesses

  • Advise on the assessment, training, hiring and firing of staff, if needed

  • Help implement new programs

  • Analyze budgets and suggest changes to bring budgets closer to goals

  • Locate resources and providers to assist with meeting goals

Almost every business can benefit from the work of a business consultant, but consultants are especially helpful if:

  • Your business is a start-up - we'll help give you a strong start

  • Your business needs a fresh perspective

  • Your company is launching a new marketing campaign

  • You're looking to grow your business

  • Your business isn't meeting your goals

  • You need help planning, organizing, and launching the next growth phase of your business

Business consultants give you an unbiased view of your business, which can lend you new insights into how your business currently is being operated versus where you want your business to go. An outside perspective can help you better understand where problems are, what pitfalls may be ahead and how to avoid them, as well as get new ideas into how you can reach your goals that you might have not considered before. Planning growth and implementing strategies to get there can be time consuming and a business consultant not only brings expertise gained by working with businesses in many varied industries that can apply to your business, but also alleviates the time consumption needed to plan your business' next phase.

The new viewpoint a business consultant brings to the table can also clarify things you may have become blind to over time; a business consultant can pinpoint weaknesses and strengths that may have fallen by the wayside.

Interested in taking your business to the next level? Set up a consultation for your business today and find out the heights your business is capable of!

Currently, this service is only available in North Idaho and Eastern Washington, but we are expanding all the time, so watch this space as we add more states.

SMALL BUSINESS LEGAL PLANS

We also provide support beyond the launch of your business. Our Small Business Legal Plans offer unlimited legal advice for common business situations. Our Small Business Legal Plans allow you to call your provider attorney to get legal advice on an unlimited number of legal matters pertaining to your small business. Starting a small business means that you are going to have legal questions. Wouldn't it be great to just be able to pick your phone and call or send a message to an experienced, dedicated attorney and get answers to those questions?

Once your business is up and running, there will be times when you need to run something by an experienced legal professional, such as sales contracts, lease agreements, hiring employees, and more. With the small business legal plan, you will be able to submit legal business documents up to 15 pages each for your attorney to review, download and use document templates created by our lawyers and then have them reviewed by your attorney for feedback, and your attorney can write letters and make phone calls on your behalf.

As your business grows, your Small Business legal subscription plan will continue to support your small business. You get one hour of legal research on each matter included at no additional fee. This does not include Designated Consultations on certain areas of the law or out of state matters; these issues are covered by three Designated Consultations included with your plan each year, up to 30 minutes each. And, with our Small Business Plus and Small Business Pro plans, you're even covered for legal support during IRS audits or representation in a trial if your business is sued.

The Small Business Legal Subscription plan will more than pay for itself the first time you use it. And, since our plans start at just $49 per month, having access to a qualified, experienced, dedicated small business lawyer is a priceless benefit to your business that is within budget.
